How to do a quality blog post and Comment

Hi this week for writing we are learning how to write a quality blog post and these are the mane tips I learnt. This weeks goal: Learn to use linking words and do good blog posts and comments.

1.  Make sure you have a catchy title an introtacson about what you are learning and what you are trying to teach everyboby you might put in your name and even what year or grade you are in at school. Use an intresting topic about a travel an animal report or anything You have done that intresres you. If you areing doing a blog post that a teacher has giving you You may want to do any digitl tools like Screencastify goolge drawing or a slideshow and do ctrl c to copy and ctrl shift v to present. 
2. have your goal a title and even a question to bring in lots of comments to start a conversata with a writer of reader.
3. make sure you have lots of information so that you know you are teaching the reader a new fact they did not know.
4. Now we are going to learn how to do a quality blog comment.

1. There are three topics you should add to your comment Positve thourghtful helpful. for postitive put what you like and love about the post. For thourghtful there post might remind you of something so tell them like this this reminds me of when we went on school camp. And for Helpful you need to put something that they might need to add or you might have spotted a spelling mistake that you need to fix.

Letter to the future!!!!

Hi This week for writing we had to write a letter to the future about lock down and this is my letter hope you like it and find it interesting.

 Dear reader,


 Hi in 2020 there was a sickness called covid-19 and so the prime minister decided to send everyone into lock down on the 28th which meant nobody was allowed to leave their house and we had something called a bubble and in the bubble were the people living in the same house as us so for me it was. me, my Mum,dad and sister.


                                                              School and sports


 At this time there was no school aloud. WE got 2 weeks on holiday and then we did distance learning. We used laptops and we did google meets with our classes and teachers for 5 whole weeks. It was hard not seeing school friends and for me it was hard to see gym friends also. My gym group did Zoom sessions which is an app and you can set up meetings.



                                                      Down sides and what we did


 We could not see our friends,teachers,extended family or anybody who did not live in our house which was very sad and hard for me and it got very boring. Because I was so bored we did lots of walks,bike rides, and runs. I also played with my dog a lot I played on the trampoline and learnt new tricks.

Time capsule

Hi this week my goal for reading was to read an article about a time capsule. an write it in to a report and this is my report hope you like it.

 HI there in the grounds of the construction site of the Bowen state building remaking there has been found a time capsule found by Maggie Barry. They found it in the lobby behind a granite plaque in a long brown tube. They think it was burred in 1959 .

 Who opened it 

 Maggie Barry said that Barry would assist in the opening on Wednesday at noon. It was opened on 9/04/1961. It was very hard to open. They struggled a lot. Before a pair of pliers could step in. Maggie commented oops I tore a piece of history trying to rip it open.

 What was inside

 Inside the capsule were a handful of old coins, newspapers and photos of Rita porter’s wedding day inside of a very long brown tube that was hard to open. Maggie Barry said that the newspapers are so different now and there were a lot of ads back in the day. They said that the newspaper was a post from July 1959 and the people who burred it were the people who built the Bowen state building before it needed to be re-done because there were some photos and plans for the building.

My goal this week was to know groupings to 1000.

How to Wash your Hands 

 Things you need Soap, sink with warm water,Clean paper towels or towel.


 Turn the tap on to warm and pump two pumps of soap on to your hands

 Rub your hands together on your palms and the back of your hands.


 Interlock your hands to get the soap in between your fingers.

 Make sure to get in between your nails to get out any hiding dirt.

Scrub your wristed with lots of soap to rins out the sweat on your wristed.

Rins your hands with the warm water and repeat the steps under the water.

Get a clean paper towel or towel and dry your hands.

 Turn off the tap

How to Make a Cheese Toasties!

 Things you need Bread Cheese Butter Butter knife Chopping board Plate Toastie machine Grater.


 1 wash your hands. Link on how to wash your hands.

 2 plug in your toasties machine.

 3 take your chopping board and two pieces of bread.

 4 grab your butter and knife and butter one piece of bread.

 5 grate as much cheese as you wish and put it on one pieces of your bread.

 6 take your other piece of bread and put it on top of the piece of bread with the butter and cheese.

 7 put your sandwich and put it in your toasties machine for 10 minutes and turn it into a toasties.
 8 after 10 minutes take your toasties out of the toastier machine and put it on a plate and eat up.
